On a Friday we take home our poetry book. This is a great book that the children can read to/with you over the weekend. It comes back to school on Monday and stays at school in the poetry box until it goes home again on Friday.

NEWS FLASH!!!!
This morning at around 8:00am a truck came into school to deliver books for the library. The truck was so big that it smashed into one of the tree branches on the tree at the front entrance. Mr Davies needed to cut the branch off so that it was safe again for everyone at school. Mr Davies got a long ladder and a red saw, he climbed the ladder and he chopped the tree branch down.

Cross Country
Yippee, finally it stopped raining on a Tuesday and we were able to have our first ever Cross Country. We had been practising during Term 3, trying to build up our strength and stamina. Some good tips for helping us be 'better than before' was to jog at the start and when we got to the last corner make sure we tried our best to finish strong! Here is a great photo of us just before we went to race down on the field.

A Visit from the police!
At school for the last couple of weeks we have had some time with Constable Jamieson. He came to talk to us about safe walking.
